7TH ANNUAL HUKILAU POKE FESTIVAL & SPAM MUSUBI EATING CONTEST

Once again we bring you the premier Poke event outside of Hawai'i. We have great prizes including a trip for two to Hawai'i for the Grand Prize winner. If you believe you have the right stuff in your Poke, please read the rules and then enter as follows:

All entries must be received no later than August 25, 2008. Finalists will be chosen and notified by August 30, 2008. Finalists will be required to present their entries during the festival on Saturday, September 6, 2008, at San Francisco Hukilau for tasting by contest judges. And for all you SPAM Mans and Ma'ams, email your name, contact info, height and weight to spam@dahukilau.com no later than August 25, 2008, you will be contacted if you are selected to participate, contestants will be selected based on name creativity and a short blurb why SPAM is manna from the gods.

I am totally aware and in complete agreement that each recipe I submit to, and each photo taken for, the Hukilau Poke Festival Contest will become sole property of Hukilau Restaurant. Recipes entered in the contest will not be returned to contestants, and may be used by Hukilau Restaurant in a fundraising cookbook at a later date; or in promotional material to be used by Hukilau Restaurant and contest sponsors at the sole discretion of Hukilau Restaurant. All recipes used in any promotional manner will carry the name of the recipe creator and a photo of the finished poke dish.
